To make this story short, the two got married and had eight children. One of whom is me. I was lucky to be born on the ***. My parents loved me so much and they provided all of my basic needs as a child.
At 5 years old, I can already understand what was happening in the environment. I was frightened when my father joined the Lord. That June 1996 made our life miserable because of the absence of our father. With my young age, I do not know what to do. My family was in a difficult situation because of the happenings. We lose the head of our family.
Being a single parent, my mother strive more with helped also of our brothers and sisters. They helped each other to finance our education.
I had a lot of bad memories and experiences in life. My mother got married again and left us. Our older brother was responsible for taking care of us. He was the mother and father in our family. Our mother just tried to visit us once a week or thrice a month and we were visiting them also. They lived far from us. Nevertheless, we keep in touch with each other.
I was in grade four when my younger sister got sick. Because of the absence of our mother, my older sister took care of her. Many hardships came to our life. That was our way of life without a mother. However, I was thankful for it made us stand on our own.
Life continues until I am in Grade 6. Not to boast but almost all of us graduated with honors. I garnered third place in our class. Just imagine a child striving in his studies even without the guidance of a mother. Because of that, people in our community were happy with our accomplishments.
The Lord is so good. Our mother came back to live with us. With almost 6 years of living without her, finally she came back. Because of that, I was inspired to study. From first year to fourth year, I was ranked as first honor bringing pride to my family.
Being a high school student was very difficult. There were a lot of challenges and hardships. However, it could not stop me from doing what I can. I sacrificed until I graduated in high school. That was year 2008.
I was hopeless thinking that I could not proceed to college. With the help of my teachers in high school, I was able to enroll in college. This was another mountain to climb. College education is very expensive that is why I am obliged to study well.
Still life would not go on without happiness. Despite of all bad experiences and challenges in life, I am still happy. Happy because my family is there willing to help and support me. My love ones are always present whenever I am down. In addition with that, there were talkative, naughty, jolly, interesting and helpful classmates that I enjoyed being with. There were also beautiful girls that brighten up my day whenever they smile at me. My life, even though sad seems to be perfect when I am with my love ones.
Those are my experiences in life. What will be in the future, I do not know. I am just thankful to God for giving me my life where I can be what I want.
